Holders of professional Diploma,University Diploma and Part-time Diploma are so worried about the bias between their Diplomas and National Diploma like the dicotomy between BSC Holders and HND Holders interms of jobs oppurtunity.
Proffessional Diploma is a programme design for student for a duration of two years to obtain diploma in some field of study in other to prepare the holders to get admission into Direct Entry programme in the University , If only the student obtain the require mark after completation of the programme.
Professional/University diploma are oftenly used to secure admission in to Direct Entry programme's in the university but can't secure Admission in HND programme.
In the other hand part-time diploma also is not equivelent to National diploma in most cases part time diplomas are programme for workers who are to busy to be at school but have free time to study at weekend.

It is possible for one to convert his professional/university diploma in to National diploma.
For one to convert such they is a programme been design for such which covers a duration of 1 year regular programme at some polythecnic such as (Kadpoly, Nubapoly e.t.c), intrested candidate can apply for this programme when the above school open portal for admission.

In Nuba poly this programme is called "ND2 SPECIAL" its a one year programme were those with professional diploma can apply for when school admission portal is open.
Note: the 1year programme is a regular not part-time programme.
After completation of this programme student will be awarded National Diploma certificate.
