The jamb om wednesday called on candidate desirous of visiting its offices nationwide for any transaction to book an appointment through phone.
The board head media and information,Dr. Fabian Benjamin who made the call in an imterview with News Agancy of Nigeria (NAN) in lagos, Said thag such Vandidate could commence the booking from thursday july 2, 2020.
According to him, the devlelopment is in line with the NCDC's safety protocol to curb the spread of COVID-19.
He said "As wwe all know the federal Government in its weekly media briefing on Monday, june 29, lifted the ban on inter - State and others.
Before this time, candidates had been callung the board concerning one or two issues and need to visit our offices physically to get these issues sorted out.
With the ease of inter-state movement lockdown, for instamce, those which have been yearning to visit out JAMB Office nationwide can now do so by booking an appointment with our officials, i order to get necessary attention, while keeping safe.
According to him, the book appointment such candidates need to dial *55019# with the same phone number they used during registration.
Immediately they dial this number information will appear on their telephones, while they should follow and adhere strictly to.
This will ensure that offices will be free From crowd, there by maintaining the safety standard as rolled out by the NCDC.
Mr Benjami also urge candidate not to pay any monet to jamb official , payment is only through ATM Cards or Bank .
