Date of birth issues has become problems to some student which at times is not their fault but those who help them apply.
Some students do not focus while capturing their data for registration either in JAMB or School Post UTME Form, at times they trust those in assist of registring them, thats why they don't pay attention and check if they made mistake while filling the form online.
Untill after they have submited their form and print a hard copy, then they realised that date of birth is not captured correctly or others relevant information.
Most of the times date of birth problems normally occurs in jamb registration due to much candidate willing to register.
HOW CAN YOU SOLVE THIS PROBLEM IF IT HAPPENS TO YOU.
Must of Nigeria schools accept "COURT AFFIDAVIT OF MIS CAPTURING OF DATE OF BIRTH"
So the best way to overcomes this issue is :
1. visit any court stated in section 5 (6) A-H in the 1999 Fedral Constitution Of Nigeria.
2. An obtain your Affidavit stating the wrong date of birth and replacing with the origina and reason why it happen.
3. Attach them to your document when going physical screening and insert them in school file.
4. Apply change of date of birth through jamb to avoid the error to appeared in your NYCS certificate.
