Six years after closure of secondary schools in Chibok communty in Borno state, due to the terrorists activitities in the region. the 2020 Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) was successfuly conducted.
This was made known by the Acting General Officer Commanding (GOC), 7 Division, Nigerian Army, Brig.-Gen. Abdul-Khalifa Ibrahim, while playing host to members of Education in Emergency Working Group Nigeria (EiEWGN), on Thursday in Maiduguri.
If remembered the Chibok schools were closed after over 200 students were abducted by the Boko Haram terrorists from the Government Girls Secondary School in 2014. Which Some of the abducted children have been released while some are still in captivity.
